Features

One subscription covers FBR digital invoices, quotations, the point of sale, purchasing, stock, accounts, and reports. Quotations are free with no limit before you pay, and the quotations report stays available then too. Purchasing, the till, stock, accounts, and the other reports open with the subscription. Each business can add three staff users and choose their menus. The price does not rise when you use more of them.

What you can do

Purchasing and stock

Purchase orders

Draft an order for a supplier, issue it, or cancel it. Expected date and a short note stay on the order.

Goods received

Receive against an order. The quantity goes onto stock. Cancel the receipt and that quantity comes back off.

Receipt to supplier bill

Turn a goods receipt into a supplier bill so the purchase sits in the accounts.

Opening stock

Enter a date, a quantity, and a unit cost. Inventory and owner’s capital are posted together.

Accounting

Chart of accounts and journals

Keep your own accounts and a fiscal year. Draft a journal, post it, or delete it while it is still a draft.

Receipts and credit notes

Record money received from a customer, and a credit note when you reduce what they owe. Either entry can be reversed.

Supplier bills and payments

Enter a bill, pay it, or record a vendor credit. Posted FBR invoices can be brought into the books as well.

Banks, petty cash, and transfers

Keep bank accounts and a petty-cash tin. Move money between them, then reconcile a bank account to its statement.

Statements and aging

Open a customer or supplier statement, and see how long balances have been outstanding.

Trial balance, profit, and the balance sheet

Trial balance, general ledger, profit and loss, and balance sheet sit on the same books.

Point of sale

Counter sale

Pick a customer and saved products. Take cash, bank, or leave it on account. Cash shows the amount tendered and the change.

Receipt, stock, and a void

The sale prints a receipt, reduces stock, and updates the books. It is not sent to FBR. Voiding it puts stock and the books back.

How a posted invoice is made

  1. Add the buyer, the lines, and the tax.
  2. Validate. Invox shows the message FBR returns, and the invoice stays editable.
  3. Submit to FBR when the subscription is active, or when the business is honoured.
  4. Keep the FBR invoice number. It is stored on the invoice and printed as a QR code.

The fields FBR expects

Post to FBR

Submit sends the invoice to FBR. After FBR accepts it, the lines lock.

Check before you post

Validate sends the same invoice for a check and does not post it. You can fix the draft and check again.

Province

Seller and buyer provinces are chosen from the list FBR uses, including the capital and the territories.

Sale invoice or debit note

A debit note also carries the original FBR invoice number.

Transaction type

Each invoice uses a sale scenario. Sandbox sends that scenario. Production sends the matching sale type on the line.

Unit of measure

The unit travels with the HS code. You can still change it on the line.

SRO schedule and item

When a Statutory Regulatory Order applies, the schedule and the item serial go on the line.

HS code and unit together

Search the approved list by code or description. A new code used on an accepted invoice waits for an admin description.

The amounts on each line

Sales tax and further tax

Set the sales-tax percent and, when it applies, a further-tax percent of the taxable amount.

Discount, extra tax, and FED

Discount comes off before tax. Extra tax and federal excise duty are rupee amounts on the line.

Buyer NTN or CNIC

The buyer needs a registration number or CNIC, and a province, before Invox calls FBR.

Invoice number and notes

Invox numbers each invoice. A note on the invoice stays with the draft and the PDF.

Quotations, PDF, and the record you keep

Unlimited quotations

Quotes are not sent to FBR and do not use the invoice allowance. Create an invoice from one and edit every line first.

PDF with your logo

Download the invoice as a PDF. The business logo is printed when an admin has allowed it.

FBR number and QR code

A posted invoice keeps the FBR number. The PDF shows it as a QR code.

Invoice list

Open past invoices, see which ones FBR has accepted, and reprint the PDF.

Sandbox, then production

Paste the IRIS bearer token and choose Sandbox or Production on the business profile.

Customers and products

Save buyers and items, including an Excel upload for products. Quantity, price, and tax stay editable on each invoice.

Reports

Print or download a PDF of sales invoices, quotations, till sales, purchase orders, goods received, stock, and what is still owed. Choose a date range or the whole history. Profit and loss, the balance sheet, and the trial balance stay with the accounts.
