How to open an Invox account, get an FBR token, check one invoice, and submit after you subscribe.
Try one invoice
- Register the business and confirm the email. That confirmation is enough to sign in.
- Open Profile and save the business name, NTN, province, and the FBR bearer token.
- Create one invoice. Use Validate with FBR as many times as you need. Submit to FBR stays hidden on that unpaid invoice.
- When the check is right, send a subscription receipt from Subscription. Submit appears after the payment is approved.
Get a sandbox token from FBR
Invox does not issue the token. You collect it from the FBR IRIS portal with the business NTN, then paste it into Profile. Keep the profile on Sandbox until the test scenarios pass.
- Log in to the IRIS portal with the business NTN credentials.
- Open Digital Invoicing, or Integration Mode. Select PRAL as the licensed integrator. PRAL provides this API access without a separate integrator fee.
- Enter the software details IRIS asks for: the software name, the provider, the business nature, and the sector. For this product the software name is Invox.
- When IRIS asks for the static public IP, enter the Invox address below. That is the server that calls FBR. PRAL usually takes about two hours to approve a whitelisted IP.
- When the request is approved, open the Sandbox environment in IRIS and copy the bearer token.
- In Invox, open Profile, choose Sandbox, paste the token, and save. Leave the token off the registration form.
Type this address into the IRIS whitelist field. It is the public IP of the Invox server.
A rejected token, or an IP FBR has not whitelisted, is shown as a plain message on the invoice. Validation does not post the invoice.
Move to a production token
Stay on Sandbox until the scenarios you need show as completed in IRIS. Then repeat the token step for live use:
- In IRIS, open the production side of Digital Invoicing and copy the production bearer token.
- Use the same Invox static IP for production when the live invoices are sent from this server.
- In Invox Profile, switch the environment to Production and paste the production token. Production invoices do not send a sandbox scenario id. Each line uses the sale type that matches the transaction.
Build the invoice
- Choose the buyer, the invoice date, and the transaction type. A debit note also needs the original FBR invoice number.
- Each line needs a description, an HS code, a quantity, and a price. Tax percent, further tax, discount, extra tax, FED, and SRO are sent when you fill them.
- Hover a short column heading, such as Fur. % or SRO, to read what that field means.
- The seller needs a name, NTN, and province. The buyer needs an NTN or CNIC and a province. Invox shows those gaps before it calls FBR.
Validate, then submit
Validate with FBR checks the invoice and leaves it editable. Submit to FBR posts it. Submit is available only while the subscription is active, or while the business is honoured. After FBR returns an invoice number, the lines lock. The number is stored and printed as a QR code, and the customer can open the public verification link.
When FBR rejects the data, the invoice page shows validationResponse.error and each line error FBR sends. A pass is status code 00 or status Valid. The invoice was checked and was not posted.

Subscribe
Digital invoicing is the only package.
- Registration is PKR 5,000 and includes the first two months.
- Monthly renewal is PKR 500.
- Yearly renewal is PKR 6,000 for twelve months.
From Subscription, send the plan, the transaction number, the payment detail, and a receipt. An admin approves the payment. The end date is two months for registration, one month for monthly, and twelve months for yearly. If the current term is still running, the new term is added after that end date.
An admin can mark a business honoured. An honoured business can submit without an end date. When a paid term ends, Submit to FBR is hidden until the next payment is approved.
